My Story

I grew up on the classic Universal horror films, such as Frankenstein (1931), Dracula (1931), The Mummy (1932), The Invisible Man (1933), The Wolf Man (1941), and The Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954).

Growing up, I began branching out into other horror films, such as Baron Blood (Gli orrori del castello di Norimberga, 1972), Fear of the Dark (2003), The Night Flier (1997), It (1990), and Saw (2004).

From then on, I was hooked.

I love the genre, from the silent classics of 1910’s – 1920’s, to the radical shifts the genre took in the 1960’s, from the dead-serious, gritty flicks of the 1970’s, to the fun, party-material slashers of the 1980’s. The 1990’s and 2000’s were no slouches, either.

I love horror films, and I hope that my undying passion of the genre can be seen in my strong personal views regarding these movies. I’ll give anything a go, and I’m always looking for a new favorite horror film.
